Notification from: St. Michael’s Preschool
Over the last week, our Preschool community faced a challenge that has not been since our founding in 1996 and one which no one could have ever predicted – how to “provide exceptional education and care in the Episcopal tradition” without our students being present. Tasked with this challenge, our Finance Committee recommended with unanimous approval from our Church’s Vestry that we fully compensate our faculty through the end of the school year and not collect the final tuition draw for May from our families. First and foremost, we believe this is the right thing to do. This decision will hurt in the short term, but will not close our doors as a result of this catastrophe.
As a Christian organization, we feel we have a responsibility to always address the needs of others before our own. We know these are difficult times for countless families and the last thing St. Michael’s would want to be is a burden to your own family. If you are able to help offset the cost of the decision to continue to fund payroll and other fixed expenses with no revenue at this time and would like to make a donation to support the Preschool, our teachers, and their ministry to our community, please let us know.
If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Stacey Tavan or Fr. Robert Beazley.
St. Michael’s is known as a family and that would not be the case without the support of all of you! If you would like to give online today, follow this link: Preschool Square Site.
